AAFM India operates under the authority of AAFM® USA and holds exclusive rights to offer AAFM's internationally recognised certifications and designations in India.

Curriculum Design
AAFM India designs and maintains the curriculum for all AAFM® certifications delivered in India. Every programme aligns with global standards developed by the AAFM® Global Board of Standards and is reviewed by an international academic committee of doctorate-level professionals.
Certification & Membership
AAFM India administers the certification and membership process in India, ensuring every designation holder meets rigorous education, examination, experience, ethics and continuing education requirements. Designations are conferred directly by AAFM® USA, giving charterholder credentials genuine international standing.
Licensing Standards
AAFM India establishes and upholds licensing standards for practitioners offering financial advisory and economics-based professional services in India - defining competency benchmarks, ethical conduct expectations and continuing professional development requirements.

AAFM® USA - through its Global Board of Standards - owns the global intellectual property, designations and standards. All certifications awarded in India are conferred directly by AAFM® USA, which is why designation holders enjoy genuine international recognition across 151+ countries.
AAFM India's flagship credential is the Chartered Economist® (Ch.E®) - the world's first graduate-level economics designation, recognised in 151+ countries. Graduates of any stream can enrol, and postgraduate holders in economics may pursue specialist tracks directly. Specialist certifications cover areas such as Financial Economics, Energy Economics and Applied Economics. All designations are awarded by AAFM® USA upon successful completion of the Pearson VUE examination (115 minutes, 55 questions, 50% pass mark).
AAFM® certifications are recognised in 151+ countries and delivered through 800+ accredited schools, universities and training providers worldwide. AAFM® USA is TÜV Austria-accredited, ISO 9001 quality-certified and ISO 29990-certified for non-formal training. The designations are also recognised by the CHEA International Quality Group and featured in global media including The Wall Street Journal, CNN and The Financial Times. Holders typically earn up to 27% higher salaries compared to non-certified peers.
